Diskonize me

The long awaited return of Vladislav Delay’s Vocal House project – Luomo. Following up the huge critical acclaim that accompanied the release of the fabulous ‘Vocalcity’ album, ‘Diskonize Me’ is another butter hot perfection of Deep Hose traditions with increasingly subtle dub influences. The vocal stylings melting into a crisp production aesthetic, this is straight territory from a genuinely varied artist looking for euphoric dancefloor gratification, a distinctly European take on disco tradition being the result. ‘Body Speaking’ on the flip starts off in a much more overtly Dubby fashion, but the beat here is undeniably house, evolving into vocal whispers that make for slinky late night listening, twilight styles. Excellent stuff, smooth operators watch out.
