Tessio
Mr Vladislav Delay returns with an old favourite in the form of Tessio, one of his most memorable house grooves, this time given a rework by click house phenomenon Akufen. Tessio originally came from the Vocal City LP that created a storm across the world of offkilter dance on its release and is one of the poppier moments in Luomo’s back catalogue. Heading straight into a 4/4 with lush synths and a skillful and grooved up bassline is a perfect way to compliment the vocals and keep this track on the deep side of things, and for a full 9 and a half minutes of breakdowns, dubby moments and classic groove. Likewise on Marc LeClair’s remix under his Akufen psuedonym, he retains the original music but treats the rhythms with his own beats and unique sounds to offer another bouncer. Also included is a Moonbootica remix which is built for the floor with classic club construction and breakdowns plus a heavy bassline, Luomo keeps the soul flowing, nice.
